Samantha Paris is the Founder and Lead Educator of Prequel Beauty Academy and the owner of Storybook Salon in Forest, Virginia. As a licensed cosmetologist, salon owner, registered nurse, and educator, Samantha holds a deep commitment to shaping, not just skilled stylists -- but grounded, professional, financially literate beauty entrepreneurs.
Samantha's passion lies in the business foundation of the beauty industry. She believes that true confidence comes not only from technical ability, but from understanding how to build, sustain, and grow a career with intention.

Technically, Sam specializes in modern hair education and extension services. Students receive hands-on extension training and graduate with real exposure to one of the most in-demand services in the industry today. Extension education is integrated with strong foundations in haircutting, color, scalp care, skincare within scope, and lash and brow services within scope.
Above all, Sam is committed to cultivating a culture of professionalism, collaboration, and integrity. She believes the future of the beauty industry is rooted in community over comparison -- and she leads accordingly.

The PBA Experience
Prequel Beauty Academy is a full-time, 7-8 month cosmetology program designed for focused, immersive learning.
Each cohort is inteionally small -- fewer than 12 students -- allowing for induvidualized attention, mentorship, and true skill development.
